Syscoin identified and responded to a bridge exploit involving the Syscoin UTXO-to-NEVM bridge. The incident resulted in the unauthorized release of 5 billion SYS on the UTXO side. The funds have since been returned to the official Syscoin recovery address, and were subsequently burned.
